Kickboxing Tkd
are the ymca kickboxing courses any good?
well ive been doing Martial Arts for a few years. Bjj and judo mostly (wierd combo) but still and im looking into striking. The closest to me is kickboxing and tkd at the ymca. I was wondering if the ymca class was worth taking.
I do Judo also and I am a member of the YMCA. A friend of mine teaches a kick boxing class. She went to school to be an instructor but it is NOT what you are looking for. It will give you a heck of a cardio work out but they do not teach striking in proper form and out of a class of 30 theyr may be 2 guys in there. Although thosw who take it may think they can kick someones butt, it is meant for cardio, not Self Defense. Good luck
