I notice the people in support of free health care seem to view it as a hand out, why is that?

Entitlement as usual, everybody should get what everybody wants, regardless of if they deserve or are willing to earn it. Some people of course don’t have the option to buy insurance, poor people should have access to healthcare regardless of their ability to pay. But people who choose not pay for their insurance shouldn’t have it provided to them for free through tax payer dollars. That’s just going to create another government black hole that sucks up money and has nothing to show for it.
